ZAZI

We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the ethically driven Amsterdam-based fashion brand ZAZI, known for its commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and artisan empowerment.

ZAZI centres its work around handcrafted clothing created in partnership with artisan communities around the world, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design, a mission that deeply resonates with our own approach to mindful craft and textile development.

What We Worked On Together

Over multiple projects with ZAZI, we supported them at different stages of their creative and production process:

  • Sampling & Prototyping Support
We collaborated closely with their design team through the sampling stage. We started the process by creating naturally dyed fabric samples in colours that best suited the vision. Followed by a few rounds of sampling which included stitching the garment, refining fit, finish, and fabric behaviour to ensure the final garments met both aesthetic and functional standards.
  • Natural Dyeing & Fabric Development
We dyed handwoven silk fabrics for several of ZAZI’s seasonal dress collections, helping bring their design concepts to life with rich naturally dyed colours and prints.
  • Production Sewing & Finishing (Selected Pieces)
On select projects, we extended our support beyond dyeing by assisting with stitching and garment creation to help translate the vision into finished silk dresses.

Each collaboration was rooted in mutual respect for craft, quality, and thoughtful design. Working with ZAZI has been an inspiring experience, and we’re proud to have contributed to projects that celebrate heritage, creativity, and sustainability.
